New chef in Hamburg Atlantic

HAMBURG. Thomas Wilken is the new chef at the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski
Hamburg. The legendary, recently beautifully renovated house with
illustrious regulars he replaces Peter Koenemann, which orients a new
career.
Wilken was most recently Executive Chef at the Overseas Club in
Hamburg, which is operated by Kempinski. His culinary training was
undertaken in Zanzibar on Sylt. Then he went for each half a year
after Sydney / Australia and on the luxury cruise ship MS Europa.
End of 2002, Thomas Wilken was moored in Hamburg, first as sous chef
at the restaurant Elba, then in the same position at the Atlantic
Hotel Kempinski. After another stay abroad in Tanzania began in the
Overseas Club in Hamburg.
